Hyderabad Mudrun Day Briefing.

Sun 14th Sep 2014. Timings : 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. You can come anytime in between.

Location : Lahari resort, Banoor, Patancheru. 

Things to Carry :
1. A pair of spare clothes to change into after the run.
2. Wear good comfortable old clothes such as tracks and tee
3. Wear old shoes - Sandals/slippers would be slippery in the mud.
4. Towel - to wipe after the shower.

After the Run:
Collect your Medal and Certificate, Snack and don’t forget to take a picture at the mudrun banner.

About the Run:


Obstacles and the ultimate fun run, created for the thrill-seekers among us, being held in Hyderabad for the second time by GHAC. Join like minded racers as you run, crawl or even belly-flop your way through Running, Water-pits, Crawling, Jumping over Blocks and Sliding. Whether you're a Sports person, Fitness freak or an Enthusiast, the Mud Run is for everyone! You can run or walk the entire course as per your ability.



What to Expect - Mud?
Laughter. Camaraderie. Lots of mud. And more mud.

What are the Timings?
The event will be held from 7.00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  in batches.  The Organizers will inform you about your reporting time.

How fit or skilled do I need to be?

The Mud Run is for everyone who is generally fit; it’s accessible to all who wish to take part. If you are uncomfortable with any obstacle, you can skip it.

How will I know where to go on the course?
The course will be marked with signs for easy guidance. Marshals will also be positioned at critical points along the course for extra guidance when it is needed. The trail outline and markings will be discussed at the briefing, prior to the commencement of the event.

What do I need for the Mud Run?
Just yourself! Wear some old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. A good suggestion is to get some old clothes which you don't mind throwing away at the end of the event (please make sure you carry a reusable carry bag to take all your dirty and soiled clothes back home). Get out those old running shoes that you don't mind getting muddy. There will be water available along the course for washing up.

Have a light breakfast, and make sure you carry refreshments and drinking water along.

How do I get to the venue?
You can car pool with other participants or take the paid bus service provided by GHAC for the participants. 

Can I bring my family and friends along to watch?
Yes, we would encourage you to bring your family and friends along to participate or watch you take part in the Mud Run.

What time does the Mud Run start?
The event will start from 7.00 a.m. Participants are requested to start lining up at the venue at the allotted time given to them.

What are the expected finish times?
Participants should finish the Mud Run in around 1 hour. Please remember, this is not a competition.  Therefore, the focus is on completion and not competition.   

Will I be timed?
The Mud Run is a fun run!  Therefore, it is not timed.  You can complete it at your pace, as quickly or as slowly as you choose.

What are the things provided in the run?
Packed meal is included.  Water will be available for every one after the race.

What are the arrangements?
Washrooms and changing rooms will be available at the venue.  Transportation facilities to and from the venue are also available at an additional cost of Rs.200/-. 

What do we get after the Mud Run?

All participants will be eligible for a certificate, while all finishers are eligible for a Medal & Certificate.
